01

Set the scope of the comparison

Write down the incident type, location, dates, and the practical help you need. A firm that handles injury claims generally may not handle every kind of incident or every jurisdiction.

02

Ask the same five questions

For each firm, ask who would be responsible for the matter; whether it handles this type of claim; how updates are sent; what fees and expenses may apply; and what the next step would be. Record answers in separate columns rather than relying on memory.

03

Separate claims from evidence

A website may describe a practice area or past result. Ask how that information relates to your circumstances. A past result cannot predict an outcome, and directory information is not a quality ranking.

04

Review the proposed agreement

Before deciding, read who the client and responsible attorney are, what work is covered, how fees and costs are calculated, and how either side may end the relationship. Ask for a written explanation of any term you do not understand.

05

Make a decision you can explain

Compare verified credentials, relevant experience described by the firm, communication arrangements, and written terms. You may need to contact more than one firm to find one that can evaluate your situation.

Sources and verification

Our mission and philosophy

A clearer path to accurate injury-law information.

Our mission is to make public information about personal injury law firms easier to find, understand, and verify. We organize factual directory records, practical legal education, and links to official sources so people can begin their research with greater clarity.

Our philosophy is accuracy before promotion, clarity before complexity, and corrections whenever reliable evidence shows that a listing has changed. Directory inclusion is informational and is never presented as a legal recommendation.
